Piano
The piano is an acoustic, keyboard and stringed musical instrument invented in Italy by Bartolomeo Cristofori around the year 1700 (the exact year is uncertain), in which the strings are struck by wooden hammers that are coated with a softer material (modern hammers are covered with dense wool felt; some early pianos used leather). It is played using a keyboard, which is a row of keys (small levers) that the performer presses down or strikes with the fingers and thumbs of both hands to cause the hammers to strike the strings.
The piano may be played from written music, by ear, or through improvisation. The piano is a crucial instrument in Western classical music, jazz, blues, rock, folk music, and many other Western musical genres. Pianos are used in soloing or melodic roles and as accompaniment instruments. As well, pianos can be played alone, with a voice or other instrument, in small groups (bands and chamber music ensembles) and large ensembles (big band or orchestra).
Types
Modern pianos have two basic configurations, the grand piano and the upright piano, with various styles of each. There are also specialized and novelty pianos, electric pianos based on electromechanical designs, electronic pianos that synthesize piano-like tones using oscillators, and digital pianos using digital samples of acoustic piano sounds.

FACILITIES IN OUR MUSIC SCHOOL
Once enrolled for the program the student will be provided with the materials for studying. All the study materials are purely structured with notations keeping the originality of music from basic to advanced level. The student has to carry their own Instrument for the classes since it’s a manual instrument. A variety of choices are available for purchase. The training includes the handling of the Instrument from tuning to playing. Once the student is flexible with handling the Instrument they are given more training along with tracks and accompaniment. Piano classes are centralized with Air Conditioning for extra comfort and the safety of the students is monitored by 24/7 Camera Surveillance.
